The Need

There are over 100 theater companies in the St. Paul-Minneapolis metro area. The majority of these companies do not have their own performance space. The challenges of many available rental spaces include costly rents, limited availability, poor management, sub-standard conditions, unsuitable locations, and limited parking. Our origins grew from a desire to address these challenges directly.

Our Mission

Our mission is to serve the needs of Minnesota's growing theater community by providing an affordable, well-managed, conveniently located performance space: the Lowry Lab Theater in downtown St. Paul.

Added Benefits to the Community

Providing performance space in downtown St. Paul not only supports the Twin Cities arts community, but also helps with the revitalization of the area by bringing patrons to the theater as well as to nearby restaurants and other attractions.
